Forum - could it be dying down

i have noticed that at this time of year the business is dying down, there are not much bookings anymore, i wanted to know that if i pu some sort of special out there what kind of special would you like

it could somehting like buy one hour and get an extra two hours free, i am giving a chance to the clients to say what kind of special they would want, i am open to all ideas, so let me know

I'm not a potential client, but here's an idea:

Offer outdoor activities, like a hike, sex, and a picnic lunch combo. Or do you think you should wait until it warms up a bit more?

there is still snow on the ground here, but that is a pretty good idea

If you know something about the wildflowers, birds, butterflies, etc. of your area, you could entice nature lovers to use your services.

You might just start a trend or something:

I noticed the same problem, and of course the economy here sucks, so I added a few specials to my web site. It has drawn some traffic, so it has helped a little. I offered some money off for one offer or they could choose 30 minutes extra. They have been choosing the money off, so you know it has to do with funds at the moment. Hopefully it will pick up soon.

i will check back with the nature part, about lowering the prices, i have done so, and yes i got a couple more of clients, it is a tough time now and i know that it will pass soon, summer is coming

that deal of buying one hour and getting two free is very good, i was also thinking of another, something like if a client books you three times then then get some more time for free or at a cheaper price, something along those lines

I think it is a combo of offering special like someone else mentioned with adding activities. Offering something unique will get you potential new clients. But also offering a discount to some people, will help a lot. I noticed a bunch of people who buy their ads from me that they are featuring "new lower rates" on their ads to draw in more people.

so did you come up with any new deals that you will be putting out i am very curious to hear about them

oh yes starting from the 25th of april to the 25th of may everthing will be half price so if you take one hour it will be 30 instead of 60, and if you take 4 hours it will be 105 instead of 210, now you could always book as a group and still pay the same prices and then divide between the amoutn of people you are, so if two people book me for an hour it wil cost each of them 15$, wow

then to make it even better if a client books me for three times then i will give you addional free time. let me explain how it works, if during the course of the three booking you took me for a total of 6 hours then i will give you one third of the time free since that will more or less come out to the average amount of time of the booking, this will be going on for a quite a while i dont know when i will decid to stop it but it will most certainly way after may 25th

that sounds like some pretty good deals, ill be sure to book you within a month

i already had my first clients who took advantage of the special this past saturday, and another has booked for tomorow night, i gues it is working!

From what I've heard on CNBC they think the dollar has hit it's low and is going to start rising today. A great deal of speculation is riding on what the FED says and does today. Most analyists are hoping the FED leave every thing alone believing that any more intrest rate cuts will lead to further devaluation of the dollar. The best way to strengthen the dollar is to stop buying things that are not made in America. The greater our Gross National Debt the less value the dollar has and the largest debt we have is to China.

This just on the news: The FED has cut interest rates by .25%. They are still worried about the down side risk and stock markert is not reacting to this new. The price of crude oil is down to 113 per barrel. The lack of reaction is reflected in the lack of movement in the stock market and the value of the dollar has not increased. Talk of substansual easing and problems with housing market to continue for the next year.
