Omaha (KPTM) - Not only can you find furniture, concert tickets or a job on Craigslist, a Fox 42 News investigation showed you can also find prostitutes.
Investigators from SPI Omaha found several women advertising erotic services on Craigslist and invited them to a local hotel.
One ad said "just how kinky you want to get depends on you."
It's one of about 30 postings you'll find everyday on Craigslist.
Some advertise massages costing as much as $300, leading one to ask if the women are giving more than just a rub down.
"As long as you give them a little notice they'll come pretty much anywhere," said investigator Brett Pippin of SPI Omaha.
Paul, our fake John, helped us put that to the test by making a few calls.
A short time later, a girl calling herself "Jay Love" showed up saying "I was going to ask you if I could get a hundred dollars from you to take it out to my driver."
She didn't mention a massage but lifted up her shirt when asked what she'd do for Paul.
Afterwards, we asked her why she came to the hotel.
"I came here to see my friend. I was just going to hang out and he was going to give me some money."
Next, we called a girl who goes by "Daisy" who offered to bring a friend.
The girls agreed on a price of $250 for certain sexual acts, adding others would cost an additional $20.
When confronted afterwards, the girls denied making a deal for sex or breaking the law.
When asked if they knew prostitution was illegal, one replied "No. I see girls doin' it all the time."
When asked where, Katherin Meadows said "Like on Park Avenue and stuff."
Meadows is the same girl who was arrested by Omaha Police for using Craigslist for prostitution just five days earlier.
Five days later, she was back at it.
"It's your body it's what you do with it," Meadows said.
Word of our investigation seem to hit Craigslist.
When we requested interviews, at first, no one showed up.
But not everyone got the word.
A woman calling herself "Jasmine" arrived.
She told Paul she'd do a strip tease and body rub.
And for a tip, she'd do more.
"I don't have sex unless I get a really large tip like five hundred dollars," Jasmine said.
When we tried to talk to her, she left.
But after we caught up to her, she said she lied to Paul about the sex.
"I told him whatever he wanted to hear so he can pay me a service fee" Jasmine said. "Honey, it's called hustling'!"
Since no money was exchanged, there's no way of knowing what Jasmine or any of the other girls would have done.
But simply making a deal for sex is illegal, even if, as our investigation showed, it's simple to do.
"I was surprised how easy it was. As easy as ordering dinner," Paul Scott said.
Looks like cl is being hit hard every where be careful girls.
