I would love to share a poem that has a lot of meaning to me....
I sometimes get to read some great books and some of them have great poems in them that have so much meaning for me in my life.
I would love to share a poem that is very meaningful for me.

"The Road Not Taken" By: Robert Frost

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

This poem made me think about how many times throughout my life that I went through a lot of pain and hurt and I chose the road to perserverance and going on with my life. I chose the road to peace, caring about others, and love and even though it can be a hard road to follow in life; it is worth every moment of life to me.

Hi SexyTWO and thanks! Yes, I sometimes love to read and some of the poems I read have a lot to do with my own life as well. Plus, some of the poems I read give me encouragement to keep going in life and I like to give that same encouragement to others as well. I'm glad that the poems are of encouragement to you as well!
