Holidays are those times when pairing with a significant other and/or love interest makes the season bright!! I am a true fan of the Christmas holidays -- the shopping; the crowds; the decorations; the gifts; the gatherings; the family dinners; the parties; the candle light church services; the caroling and the intimate moments that last forever in your memories. I never really understood why anybody would choose to be alone on Christmas Eve, let alone, Christmas Day?? Sometimes by acts beyond your control you may find yourself alone, but to choose to be alone?? I just don't get it. The clock has now turned four minutes past midnight and the pitter-patter of reindeer has yet to arrive, lol!! I mean, is Santa going to bring my holiday wish or what?? I am now waiting on the company of a woman friend who doesn't mind spending a little quality time during this Christmas season. I mean, why be alone sulking over what we didn't give or receive? Why be alone remorsing over stuff we cannot fix? If it is company that we NEED, then it is company that we shall get!! Oooooohhh... the weather side is frightful but the fire is so delightful and since we’ve no place to go.... Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! Well, it doesn’t show signs of stopping but we’ve got some corn for popping and the lights are turned way down low... Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! When we finally kiss goodnight how I hate going out in the storm but as long as you hold me tight... Oh, all the way home I’ll be warm! The fire is slowly dying but my dear we’re still goodbye-ing and as long as you love me so... Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!
Ah, yes... Christmas Day!! Thank you Santa for sending me my Ho-Ho-Ho!
