Well, lately we have been having very heavy rains off and on in the afternoons and evenings in SC. Today; it's been a little more dangerous with the weather. Earlier today, there were some very heavy rain storms and then there were two reported tornados in the lower parts of SC. The weather reports are saying that there could be more tornados popping up in the later part of the day today. For now, they have tornado watches out for most of SC. I think it's all probably from the last part(remnants) of the tropical storm faye that went through Florida a few days ago. At least, one good thing about all the rain is that it is helping with getting rid of the drought that we have been experiencing in SC.
I hope that these storms pass by without anyone getting hurt at all.
I am making the best of the day though by getting some things done at my place along with enjoying some great music on my stereo.
I also am thinking about going ahead and getting a workout in soon. So, I don't have to worry about being on my exercise equipment during any possible bad storms.

Well, today was a very good day. The weather was a little windy; but was still very nice. I also was warmed up in my heart by recieving a card through the mail today. I got a card from an old friend from many years ago thanking me for the times that I encouraged and cheered her up during the hard times in her life many years back. I had worked with this person at a store long time ago; and she had many problems with abuse in her life from her boyfriend and family members at the time. I often encouraged her back then and gave her a shoulder to lean on when things were going very bad. I didn't think that it was anything special I did. I just thought that it was the right thing to do when someone is hurting and sad. I was so happy to see that she was appreciating all those times I was there for her many years ago by sending me a beautiful thank you card. I was so grateful to get her card and know that she is doing ok in her life. It also cheered me up seeing the beautiful card as I was feeling a little down before I had gotten it. The card encouraged me and helped to put a smile on my face today enough to help me get through a hard time in my life too(smiling).

I was cleaning out my closet the other day and came across a few games I used to play when I was growing up as a child. I used to love playing those games like Operation, Boggle, Uno,Parchesie and who can forget Dominoes. I remember there were a lot of times when I was a teenager as well where our family would often play Dominoes and Parchesie. When it would rain outside; sometimes our family would bring out one of the games; and we would play for so many hours until the game was over. We didn't have the computer games that kids have now. We had board games,card games, and dominoes. It was often fun and the strategy in a few of the games helped with learning as well.
There was one game though that I really loved a lot; but the parents didn't like it too much. When teenagers got together;often this game would be played and it was fun(smiling). It was called spin the bottle.
It was basically where you spin the bottle on the floor while there were some of us sitting around it(basically in a cirlce). Whomever the bottle pointed to is the person you would kiss. This kissing game was fun at the time; although it isn't like the kissing I do now(winking). Well, I still enjoyed the kissing game(spin the bottle) a few times when I tried it as a teenager. I also enjoyed all the other board games as well with family too.

I hope that everyone in the Florida area; and other surrounding areas of the storm(Faye) are safe and ok. What is now tropical storm faye is surely staying around longer than expected bringing lots of rain and wind into Florida and surrounding areas. It's path keeps turning from one way to another; and now looks like it could turn back around in Florida and head off to a portion of Georgia, and possibly Alabama. It's turning out to be kind of unpredictable; but hopefully the storm will not get any worse than it is already. These types of storms can be very dangerous with flooding as well and not to be taken lightly. I hope that all of you in the path of the storm keep safe and find places to stay until the storm is over. My heart goes out to you all and prayers as well.

I'm back from the weekend from spending time with family. I had a lot of fun with them too. We ended up cooking outside on the grill on Saturday along with spending time playing a little baseball. I hadn't played that in so long; but I did ok with throwing the ball at least. We even spent a little time playing volleyball. I really liked that a lot too. Sunday was ok where we spent time watching movies and playing card games with lots of conversation. I am glad to be back and getting ready for more action as well(smiling).

It was raining all day today off and on; but it felt great! The temperature today was around 76 degrees because of the rain as well. Oh my, I was so thankful for the rain too. I don't completely understand why my reputation points went down from 50 to 42 once again. I try hard to put meaningful, thoughtful,caring, and informative words into all my writing on forums,blogs, or anything else. It just seems that when I try hard to do right; someone else or others seem to want to put me down once again. This makes me sad. This is the only job I have and I live on my own with no help from anyone except what I make with what I do from here. I scrape by trying to make ends meet to pay all the bills and still having financial problems. Some may have banking accounts to back them up in financial crisis; but I don't have any of that at all. I barely have enough food to get by on from week to week. I get depressed sometimes about it; but I try hard to keep my head up and keep going. This business is not easy and I put a lot of work into getting to know people so that forutunately I will be able to have very good friendships and get the help that I need. When my reputation points go down so much or dramatically; then it makes me think that someone or others don't like me because I am trying to be myself and it hurts. Right now, I will try and keep my head up and hopefully have better times ahead.

It was a beautiful day today; a little hot; but not bad at all; just warm enough to make me feel good all over(winking). I took a little time to go fishing at a small fishing area in the river today. I was thinking about some years ago when I drove a small pickup truck. It was a lot of fun at the time. If everyone is feeling the heat of the summer like SC; I sure hope that you all are staying cool(but not too cool;smiling). I don't mind a little heat myself(winking); I just don't like the extreme heat. It's been very hot here and it seems like it's not going to let up until probably the end of August. I drink lots of water and even use a cold towel around my neck to stay cool sometimes too. I really feel bad for the people who have to work outside during the heat of the day. Hopefully, they can find air condition somewhere if it gets too hot for them. I saw a sprinkler in a yard the other day; and even was tempted to run into the streams of cold water that came from it. I have been watching the news about the hurricane that went through Texas. I am very glad for them that the levees did not break though. It could have been much worse for them; but thankfully it wasn't. They did sustain a large amount of damage from the winds and some flooding. I sometimes like to stay up late and get things done at my place and talk to friends as well. I also love to use that time as well to work out if I am not working out in another way at night(smiling & winking). I know I would have a lot more fun working out with having sex!
